It's been 45 years since we first met in Germany, Johnny. I've watched you navigate five major periods in your extraordinary journey... Savage, Healing, American playtime, physical healing, and now this magnificent present. I've partied with you (fighter pilot hardy), Flown through fjords with you (the most memorable and harrowing flight of my life) and watched you ascend out of hell to this exceptional place you are now. Roaming around backroads of North America last 40 years, some trips into Canada and Mexico. Camping, motorcycles, vans, RV, and cheap motels mostly. Have met a range of characters.
